Financial concerns affect most of us at some stage of our lives and because of this our Business Studies Department invited the Ulster Bank, in partnership with Young Enterprise, to run a MoneyŁense workshop with Year 11 students. The workshop, facilitated by ex teacher and businessman, Ian McMaster, proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting session. During the workshop students learned about banking products and services, presentation skills, business start up and many aspects of borrowing and saving money. The life skills gained from the event were very relevant to the young people and will certainly prove useful to them in the future.
