Our Year 11 Girls’ Football Team have secured the Runners Up Prize in the Seven-A-Side Dale Farm Down League. The team, playing in this league as there were no other teams in the local area wanting to compete in the competition, defeated St Colmcilles in Crossgar, 5 goals to 0 to gain second place overall. The goal scorers were Lauren Hutchinson, Hannah Napier, and Alex Gracey. The girls really enjoyed the experience of the 7-A-Side competition which is played on a much smaller pitch.
