This year fifteen energetic students and two members of staff travelled to Folgaria in the beautiful Trentino region of Italy for the school’s annual ski trip. The vast resort which boasts many pistes, suitable for all levels of skiers, was the perfect location for the eager group to improve their prowess on the slopes. The weather was variable, half a meter of snow fell in two days, however the skiing conditions were good which meant the skiers were on the slopes every day. Ski lessons, given by expert instructors, morning and evening, and après ski activities such as swimming, ice skating and shopping meant that everyone enjoyed a full and varied timetable while they were away. At the end of the week the students were extremely sad to be coming back to school where they knew the timetable would be a little less appealing! Anyone interested in next year’s trip should contact Mrs Bell on the Portadown Campus and Mr Cousins on the Lurgan Campus.
