At Craigavon Senior High School female students are becoming more and more interested in the fitness and fun that football offers. It is so popular in fact that the school was able to send two teams to the recent Armagh heat of the Dale Farm Indoor Five-a-Side competition. Both teams performed exceptionally well, displaying brilliant teamwork and technique but one team just managed to score a few extra goals to take them through to the semi-finals. The game was hotly contested and unfortunately it went to penalties where Newry High School just out manoeuvred our team to secure a place in the Belfast finals. Well done to both teams and we look forward to seeing them in the competition next year again.
