Vocational Enhancement Programme CCEA Occupational Studies Levels 1 and 2
The aim of the vocational enhancement programme is to give pupils a wider range of learning experiences that lead to recognised and approved qualifications. By participating on the programme the pupils will be able to make better career decisions based on wider options, develop key skills and take responsibility for their own learning. Students have the opportunity to sample various occupational areas prior to making choices about their progression route when they leave school at 16.
Pupils will select 2 from the following options
Brickwork Plastering Woodwork Car Maintenance Metalwork Digital Technology Beauty Therapy Hairdressing Sport Childcare Catering Design
One option will be delivered in year 11 and the second option in year 12
